![]() ISEEESA was founded in 2006 by a group of University of Calgary students led by Mark Blackwell, with the simple mission to create initiatives that reflect the growing movement to obtain a cleaner energy supply, healthy environment, and efficient economy. The University's shared commitment for such a future was reflected in it's creation of the Institute for Sustainable Energy, Environment, and Economy; the parent organization of ISEEESA. In the short years since inception, ISEEESA has grown immeasurably, with new events being added each year and the reach of ISEEESA's message spreading further as a result. ISEEESA is proud to partner with industry, faculty, and government to provide students with vast opportunities to learn, explore, and act on issues related to sustainability.
